Lewivest brings members together to pool savings, lend responsibly and fund real projects. Disciplined monthly contributions build each member's capacity to borrow; a shared liquidity reserve keeps the cooperative sound; and every rule — savings minimums, lending rates, fees, eligibility — is set by the members' Constitution and applied consistently.
A Treasurer manages the dedicated SACCO account and can attest to membership, savings, loans, repayments, fees, penalties and guarantor commitments. Interest, processing fees and penalties are recorded as SACCO income, and distributable profits are allocated in proportion to qualifying savings.
